The Rear Quarter Panels include integral end
caps and a filler panel to connect the fender to the inner wheel well. They install with
pop-rivets after cutting off the old fender.
The Front Fenders are a bolt-on duplicate of the original with slight modifications to provide better fit of the thicker fiberglass The Door Patches are galvanized metal patches that cover from the bottom of the door trim panel on the inside around the bottom of the door and up 7" on the outside. The edge can be hidden behind the standard chrome strip. The Liftgate Patch similarly covers the bottom of the liftgate from the glass down. The Rocker Panels are also covers (fiberglass or galvanized) that go over the outside of the present rocker panels. The Inner Patches are 10 x 20" galvanized panels with a formed top edge that are used to patch the inner lender panels if necessary while installing the outer quarter panels The Top Repair Strips area rounded angle piece about' 1" high to assist in repairing the bottom edge of the Traveltop. The Terra fled Edge Strips are a u-shaped channel to cover the exposed top edge of the fenders on the pickup (or other models too). The Front Cab Mounts are replacements for the mounts behind the front wheels. They extend from the tunnel to the rocker panels, with flanges for welding on both ends. They extend 7" up the angled part of the floorboard and are 5" wide under the floor with a 1 " formed box section like the original mount. There is a separate box gusset that welds to the rocker panel and extends in to the rubber cab mount. The Full Floors are 17" wide, extend from 5 inches upon the angled part of the firewall back to the step behind the seat and have a new lip for the seal under the door. The Short Floors cover only the front 43 inches of the floor and are also 17" wide. The Lipmaker is a 7.5" wide panel for along the outer edge of the floor with a flange to make a new seal lip under the door. The Tailgate Pillar and Gussets are the panels inside the tailgate opening where the latch striker mounts and the gusset is the small panel forming the rear of the interior, extending from the tailgate out into the quarter panels. The Rear Wheel Front Gussets are the 6x8" triangular panels below the wheel well above the end of the rocker panels at the front of the rear wheels. The Rear Quarter Filler panel is a splash panel to till the open area of the rear fenders behind the rear wheels. A similar panel was incorporated into the 1980 Scout production. The Front Fender and Rear Quarter Patches cover the area from the door to the wheel well below the chrome trim line. The Rear Quarter Panels are of one-piece construction, including the end cap. They are installed by cutting off all of the original fender and pop-riveting them on along the edges. With experience and an air chisel to remove the old fenders, installation can be made in a day's time. The SS II Door Filler Panels area duplicate of the OEM black panels, but of white fiberglass and are somewhat stiffer They pop-rivet on just as the originals do. A pair consists of 4 pieces an inner and an outer for both the left and right sides. The Rear Inner Quarter Panels are available in the 100" length only. Or use on the Traveler/Terra, you will need to use the front 18" of the metal inner panel to extend the fiberglass. The Wheel Well Liners are a "box" made of fiberglass that fits inside the wheel well to keep road splash and mud away from the repaired areas under your Scout. The console is a copy of the long console that was used in the 1980 CVI customized vehicles. It is designed to fit around the automatic transmission shift console in the front, but can be modified to work with a manual transmission if desired. It comes with a storage bin insert and 2 cupholders. |
